Install and sign up

The PlusHeat Engineer app is where your jobs appear, where the customer’s tracking link comes from, and where you file the report at the end of a visit.

Install

• iPhone: App Store → search PlusHeat Engineer → Get.
• Android: Google Play → PlusHeat Engineer → Install.

Sign up

Your mobile number is your account. Use the number your company’s manager has for you — that’s how your jobs find you.

1. Open the app → Get started.

2. Enter your mobile number → Send code.

3. Type the six-digit code from the text.

4. Enter your name and email → Continue.

5. Allow location when asked — the customer’s live map needs it while you’re on the way, and only then.

You’re in. Next time it’s just the number and a code.

Use the right number

If your manager has one number for you and you sign up with another, your jobs won’t appear. Same phone, same number — check with them if you’re not sure which they have.

No jobs showing?

You’re signed in but the list is empty. In order of likelihood:

1. Nothing’s assigned to you yet. Ask your manager to assign a job — it appears within seconds.

2. The number doesn’t match — see the note above. Your manager can check it under Engineers in their app.

3. No signal. The app says so at the top; it catches up when you’re back.

Signing out

Profile → Sign out. Do this if the phone changes hands.
